A Case Report on Coccidiosis in a Lamb in Damot Sore District, Wolaita Zone, Southern Ethiopia

    Coccidiosis is an intestinal protozoan parasitic disease and it is one of the major constraints to sheep producing countries worldwide. This case report describes the clinical case of ovine coccidiosis. A 6-month-old lamb was examined on March 26, 2024, at Gununo veterinary clinic, WolaitaSodo. The lamb displayed fever (40.9℃), straining with eversion of the rectum and painful vocalization.


Infestation of Ectoparasites in Sahelian Goats in the Urban Area of Abéché (Chad)

    The objective of this study was to know the infestation of ectoparasites in the Sahelian goat in the urban area of Abéché. The study was carried out between May and July 2023 on thirty-two (32) farms located in the Sika, Kaminé, Goz-Amir, Salamat and Djatinié districts for a sample of two hundred and fifty-nine (259) goats. Of the 259 goats examined, 138 are carriers of ectoparasites with a prevalence of 53.28%.
