    Cranioplasty is the surgical repair of a bone defect in the skull resulting from a previous operation or injury. There are different kinds of cranioplasties, but most involve lifting the scalp and restoring the contour of the skull with the original skull piece or a custom contoured graft made from material such as Titanium (plate or mesh), Synthetic bone substitute (in liquid form), Solid biomaterial (prefabricated customized implant to match the exact contour and shape of the skull).

    The present study aimed to compare the levels of executive functions in the gamified and non-gamified task using emotiv insight in a group of students. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 60 participants. Data was collected by placing the Emotiv headset on the participant’s heads and they were instructed to perform the gamified (Trail making test) and non-gamified task (scrabble).

    Bipolar affective disorder is a chronic and complex mood disorder characterized by the combination of manic (bipolar mania), hypomanic and depressive (bipolar depression) episodes. Damage to emotions is dominant, from which damages to other psychological functions arise. The disease is endogenous with a pronounced hereditary factor. Bipolar affective disorder is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. It is often associated with severe medical and psychiatric comorbidity, early mortality, high levels of functional disability, and compromised quality of life.

    Although pedicle screws were originally placedvia the classic free-hand technique, which is based on vertebral bone landmarks for screw insertion, with the advances of technology and imaging, new techniques have been introduced, such assistive techniques include fluoroscopy guidance and navigation.
Fluoroscopy and plain serial radiography are still commonly used, nevertheless it has some inconveniences. Fluoroscopy only captures images in the lateral and AP planes and has been associated with increased radiation exposure.
