Naser Asfoor BA*; Mohamad Jabin BS; Mojahed Mohammad K Shalabi MD

Cutaneous metastases of internal malignancies are rare, but they can be the first sign of clinically silent visceral cancers, making it important for physicians to be vigilant in recognizing the possibility of visceral malignancies to the skin.

Bone Marrow Only Metastases from Lobular Carcinoma: Insights into Responses to Endocrine Therapy

David G Morrison

Two patients with lobular carcinoma of the breast previously treated with curative intent presented with anemia and multiple areas of bone pain. CT/PET, bone scan and a panel of laboratory tests including peripheral blood smears were not abnormal except for their CA27-29 values. Bone marrow aspirates and biopsies were performed.

A Novel Case of Constitutional Robertsonian Translocation rob (14;21)(q10:q10) with Additional Cytogenetic Abnormality in Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Dharmesh M Patel; Pina J Trivedi*; Mahnaz M Kazi; Priya K Varma; Archana B Patel

Robertsonian translocations between acrocentric chromosome are the most common type of constitutional chromosome rearrangement. Frequencies of rob(14;21) ranging between 14.8 and 19.6%. However, Robertsonian translocations are very rarely observed in neoplastic condition. The current study presents a case of 37 years old female with unusual constitutional Robertsonian translocation rob(14;21) (q10:q10) with t(10;22)(p13;q12) in acute myeloid leukemia with monocytic differentiation.
