Cardiovascular events are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing noncardiac surgery. Inadequate postoperative monitoring is a major factor contributing to postoperative complications. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, virtual care was widely implemented in Canada to facilitate post-operative patient care.
