This case report presents the successful surgical marsupialization of a ranula in a 9-year-old female patient with cerebral palsy with spastic quadriplegia, with attention to the anesthetic management and considerations required for high-risk pediatric patients with cerebral palsy and spastic Quadriplegia.
80-year-old male presented with right arm weakness. There was anisocoria, left cranial nerve III palsy, right arm weakness and decreased sensation. MRI brain showed, no acute infarct.
The antibody against RhoGTPase-activating protein 26 (ARH-GAP26) was initially considered as a member of the pathogenic antibodies in subacute autoimmune cerebellar ataxia(ACA) [1]. It is now indicated that this antibody, besides mediating ataxia, is also associated with psychiatric disorders and cognitive impairment [2].
A 70-year-old male with a two-year history of weakness and dysphagia was diagnosed with immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM) (Figure 1) confirmed by biopsy and SRP auto-antibody positivity.
A pneumoperitoneum because of a hollow viscous perforation is a life-threatening diagnosis that is more commonly diagnosed in the ER. We present a case of acute pneumoperitoneum in a 28-year-old man who presented to the Emergency Department (ED).
